- 613g Self-raising flour
- 150g Sugar
- 150g Butter
- 150ml Milk
- 3 medium size eggs
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 3 tsp Vanilla essence
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- A pinch of salt to taste
- Place all your dry ingredients into a bowl
- Add the butter and mix thoroughly
- Make a hole in the middle and pour your milk into your mixture.
- Mix thoroughly until everything is incorporated.
- Your batter should be smooth and thick for scooping.
- Pour your oil into a sauce pan and place on a medium heat.
- You can use your hand to scoop the batter or use a melon baller.
- Turn the ball over repeatedly and fry until it is golden brown for about 5minutes.
